The first of many updates due to come over the next couple of weeks.
There is now an official trailer for HINTERLAND – the feature film I shot between February and April 2013. You can check it out here.
The film is now finished and we’re gearing up for a screening to invited members of the press and industry on March 27th.
We hope that the film will secure a distribution deal and will be on a screen near you at some point later this year. I will of course keep you up to date with all developments of the film on this website, but further information can be found on the film’s website at www.hinterlandthefilm.com
A really lovely 1977 interview with Jacques Tati here. For anyone who is unfamiliar with his films, enjoy the short clips in this piece and then check them out. They are all brilliant.

The edit of this film is progressing really nicely and I’ve been lucky enough to see various cuts of the film as the edit has developed. I’m really excited about this film and I hope the teaser gives a flavour of the mood and tone you can expect from the finished film.
I’ll be keeping you up to date with all developments of the film on this website but if you want any further information then you should check out the film’s website at www.hinterlandthefilm.com
Thanks for reading.
I discovered this great video essay about one of my favourite directors, Jean-Pierre Melville, and one of my favourite films, Le Samourai. It’s about 16 mins long and is well worth a watch if you have the time. I’d absolutely love to make a film like this at some point in my career.
The video comes from the wonderful cinephilearchive. If you ever have any downtime I highly recommend spending some time checking out the other gems they have on their site.
It was produced by Edwin Adrian Nieves.
I’m really pleased to announce that THE MAN WHO WAS FULL OF BIRDS, a short film I photographed and co-produced through Edgewax Films last November, will be screening in competition at this years Isle of Wight Film Festival.
The Festival lasts for four days, from the 14th-17th August and THE MAN WHO WAS FULL OF BIRDS will screen at 3pm on Friday 16th in the Sacred Cinema in Ventor.
Further information about the festival, including the programme, can be found at their website here.
You can check out the trailer for the film on the project page.
